At Cook Children's McKinney, taking care of kids means including the whole family. We take the time to listen to you and your child, answer questions and help you navigate parenthood. Michelle Bailey, M.D. is a specialist in the health care of infants, children and adolescents. The McKinney team includes our board certified pediatrician and staff that, together with you, will get your kids on the path to leading happy and healthy lives. Dr. Bailey is passionate about ensuring the well-being of patients ranging from newborn through late teens. She attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!), and completed her pediatric residency in Houston. Since the completion of residency Dr. Bailey has worked in outpatient clinics and enjoys not only caring for her young patients, but becoming a part of every family by building long-lasting, trusting relationships. While she treats common and not-so-common childhood infections and diseases, Dr. Bailey has a passion for asthma and allergies, nutrition, and ADHD along with other learning disorders. She is married and has a rescue dog named Jack. When not at work, Dr. Bailey enjoys attending cultural events and traveling.
