Development Officer
Primary Location: 3452 Spur 399, McKinney, Texas, 75069 We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Job Summary: The Development Officer plays a critical role by supporting Collin College Foundation goals through specific fundraising activities that secure gifts from new and renewed donors and sponsors. The Development Officer will work with individuals, alumni, foundations, corporations, and organizations to increase contributions through annual giving, special events, or other fundraising programs. This position is instrumental in building and sustaining a culture of philanthropy within the college community, contributing to overall fundraising goals and long-term success. Required Qualifications: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required. Requirements Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience of professional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
